Looking after its staff is one of the principal missions of the Fundacíon Colección Thyssen-Bornemisza, given that the Museum considers its personnel to be one of the principal bases on which it designs, constructs and develops its projects. In the light of its support for its team of staff and the importance of this team to the Museum, a policy of personal and professional conciliation was implemented as part of its Human Resources policy. The Fundación considers it essential to have an enthusiastic, motivated and committed team, and for this reason offers its employees facilities in respect to this concept of conciliation.
Having implemented a managerial model of the course of several months that prioritises the importance of all those who form part of our organisation, the Fundación saw its efforts recognised when it was awarded the Certificate of Family Responsible Company (efr). This certificate aims to draw attention to actions aimed at facilitating the private and family life of employees through responsible practices and flexible strategies.
Having been awarded this certificate, the Fundación is now committed not only to continuing with its already implemented Conciliation Strategy but also to continue working for the development and implementation of new measures within a process of Ongoing Improvement.
