Art Routes. An Intruder in the Realm of Beauty: Collage

From 02 March to 11 April 2010

This March sees the start of a new edition in the Art Routes programme, which is organised solely for Friends of the Museum. Entitled An Intruder in the Realm of Beauty: Collage, this new course will analyse the technique of collage, which completely broke with the classical notion of art at the beginning of the 20th century. The course is led by Carmen Bernárdez, Professor of Contemporary Art at the Universidad Complutense, and also includes an analysis of collage in relationship to music, offered by Wade Matthews, doctor in Musical Composition at Columbia University, New York. Enrolment from Tuesday 9 February until all places are filled.
