Chi va darà più luce, concert for Friends

On Sunday 3 October a concert entitled Chi va darà più luce will be held exclusively for Friends of the Museum and in association with the exhibition Ghirlandaio and the Renaissance in Florence. It will take place in the Auditorium at 7.30pm. The programme will comprise 15th- and 16th-century works performed by the soprano Laura Alcalde, with Pedro Iglesias (harpsichord), Jorge Miró (viola da gamba), and Xosé Luis Saqués (percussion). The concert illustrates the musical scene contemporary with the works of art to be seen in the exhibition, including its highlight, the Portrait of Giovanna degli Albizzi Tornabuoni, all of which remain on display until 10 October. Tickets are on sale from 23 September until all seats are filled.
