In depth: Encounters before the Works
El Greco in the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza

From 19 to 28 October 2010

A new edition of In Depth: Encounters before the Works will be held from 19 to 28 October, focusing on the figure of El Greco. The aim of this programme is to offer detailed analyses by leading experts of works by the great painters represented in the collection. This edition will be led by Fernando Marías, Senior Professor of Art History at the Universidad Autónoma, Madrid. The course opens with a master class and continues with two sessions in the galleries before the works, concluding with a colloquium on the subject of the course. Enrolment for students and Friends of the Museum is from 5 to 10 October, and for the general public from 12 to 17 October.
