Concert, Women Creators Festival

From 14 to 22 March 2011

The Museum will be holding two jazz concerts in March that are part of the programme of the Women Creators Festival and are also associated with the temporary exhibition Heroines. On Monday 14 March the Norwegian singer Sidsel Endresen, who has been described as a Scandinavian version of Patti Smith, will perform a selection of her songs. On March 22 Marilyn Mazur, who has been one of the classic names in jazz percussion over the last thirty years and who performed with Miles Davis in the 1980s, will present her percussion, sax, guitar and double-bass quartet.
