Private, guided tour of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collections

From 05 to 20 June 2011

One of the numerous advantages of being a Friend of the Museum is the chance to take part annually in the thematic tour of the Permanent Collections, with the group led by experts while the Museum is closed to the public. On this occasion the route will be a chronological one, from Gothic to Contemporary Art. It will focus on the techniques used in the works, such as tempera, oil, gouache, pastel, collage, assemblage and silkscreen. The tours will take place in groups on 5 and 12 June from 7.10pm to 9pm, and on 20 June from 11am to 1pm and from 6pm to 9pm. Booking can be made by telephone or on the Museum’s website from 25 May.
