Summer course: The current Situation of Museums in Spain

From 25 to 29 July 2011

Guillermo Solana, the Museum’s Artistic Director, will be leading the summer course The current Situation of Museums in Spain, organised in collaboration with the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. The course will analyse the process of change undergone by these institutions in recent years. It will benefit from the participation of speakers from museums such as the Reina Sofía, the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Decorative Arts Museum, Madrid, and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, León, in addition to art historians, curators and artists. Enrolment for the course, which will take place in Aranjuez between 25 and 29 July, will remain open until all places are filled.
