Lecture series: On Antonio Lopez

From 05 to 22 September 2011

Towards the end of the Antonio López exhibition, the Museum has organised a new, associated activity in the form of a series of four lectures on 13, 15, 20 and 22 September. The first of them, Interview with the Artist, takes the form of a dialogue between López himself and Guillermo Solana, the Museum’s Artistic Director and the exhibition’s curator. Solana will also give the lecture on Thursday 22, entitled Antonio López and the History of Art. The other two talks, Antonio López: ten works and Antonio López: forbidden reality, will be given by Francisco Calvo Serraller and Javier Viar, two leading experts in the work of this artist from La Mancha. The lectures will take place in the Auditorium at 7pm. TICKETS SOLD OUT.
