Private guided tour for Morisot exhibition

Private guided tour of Berthe Morisot. the Impressionist Woman Painter exhibtion for Museum Friends

From 20 to 27 November 2011

Opening at the Museum on 15 November is a retrospective survey of the work of the Impressionist painter Berthe Morisot, which has been made possible through a special agreement with the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris. More than thirty paintings by the artist will be on display alongside a selection of works from the Museum’s own collection by the various painters who influenced her work. The exhibition reveals Morisot’s luminous, elegant style expressed in the form of landscapes, domestic scenes, urban views and portraits.

Booking opens on 4 October for the private guided tour organised for Friends of the Museum. The tour will take place in groups on 20, 21 and 27 November.
