The edition of the Friend’s Workshop, entitled Drawing the Museum and led by the illustrator Jorge Arranz, offers a journey sketched out by the history of painting through the Museum’s collections. Starting from the concept that to look at a painting is not the same as to look at it with a pencil in hand, this workshop offers participants the chance to move from the appearance of a painting to its very essence. It is not required to be skilled with a pencil, just to have an open attitude and a desire to free up your hand. Participants have been working with two tools: a hand-made notebook and a Samsung Galaxy Note, two supports that are complementary when looking for the technique in which you can best express yourself. Participants have finished the workshop with a wide-ranging and personal vision of their journey through the Museum, expressed in their notebook or on their screen.
