9 to 20 July. Booking from 10 April for Friends and from 12 April for the general public
Once again this year the Museum has organised an activity for 6 to 12-year-olds that introduces them to the fascinating world of art through a thematic, one-week workshop taking place in the mornings from 10am to 2pm. Offering an outstanding leisure option for the start of the summer holidays, on this occasion the chosen theme is The Wind can’t Blow the Paintings Away. Led, as always, by specialist educators, participants will undertake a range of activities relating to art and to atmospheric effects and the weather. The groups are organised by age: for 6 to 9-year-olds the workshop runs from 9 to 13 July and for 10 to 12-year-olds the dates are 16 to 20 July. Enrolment opens on 10 April for Friends of the Museum and on 12 April for the general public. Bookings can be made on tel: 902 760 511 or on the Museum’s website.
