Management and Cultural Action, and From the Collection to the Museum, summer courses with the URJC and UNED.

9 to 13 and 23 to 27 July. Enrolment opened.

The Museum’s Education Department is participating in two courses this summer. Firstly, Management and Cultural Action. Proposals and Models will analyse some of the key issues involved when embarking on a cultural management project with the aim of offering the necessary tools for doing so through the inclusion of sessions with a practical bias. Organised by the Foundation of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, it will be held from 9 to 13 July in Aranjuez and will count on the participation of José María Lassalle, Secretary of State for Culture, and Guillermo Solana, the Artistic Director of the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, among other notable speakers. From the Collection to the Museum. From the Museum to Art History will take place in the Museum’s Auditorium between 23 and 27 July. Organised with the UNED and sponsored by Fundación ACS, it will take the Museum’s collections as its starting point in order to present and analyse the different periods in art from the 13th to the 20th centuries. The last date to apply for a grant for attendance is 15 June for the first course and 13 July for the second.
