Once again this year the Museum will be taking part in the Madrid Fusion Gastronomic Festival, organising a series of tours with a theme based on gastronomy. Last Suppers, still lifes, markets, cooks, etc, together create a route around some of the works in the Collection that proposes a connection between the art of painting and that of cooking. Once again, this activity will end with a tasting session of a tapas that has been specially created by the Antiguo Convento team that manages the Museum’s restaurant-cafeteria. It is inspired by the works seen on the tour and has been given the name “Due of handkerchiefs on a confit of roast peppers.” A veritable feast for the eye and the palette. These tours will take place on the last two Saturdays in January (19 and 26) and the first Saturday in February (2), at 12 noon in English and 12.30 in Spanish. With a maximum of 25 people per group, further groups will be organised, in both languages, at 15-minute intervals depending on demand.
