With every new temporary exhibition the Museum offers a different “Guided Tour” in this ever expanding programme. Led by one of the Thyssen’s educators, these tours take the form of a dialogue in front of the works in which participants are encouraged to play an active role. The aim is to learn how to look at and understand works of art, developing greater awareness of painting and culture and acquiring the basic tools for a greater understanding of the content of the exhibition, all encouraged through the development of critical, deductive thought.

This activity is aimed at groups of students or adults. Tours take place in the morning for students (Tuesdays to Fridays at 10.15 and 12 noon; 65 Euros), and in the afternoon for groups from adult associations (Tuesdays to Fridays and Sundays at 4pm; 70 Euros)
