In conjunction with the exhibition Impression and Outdoor Painting. From Corot to Van Gogh, the Museum has organised another of its beginner’s workshop in painting techniques that relate to the subject of the temporary exhibitions. The workshop Painting outdoors will focus on the role of this pictorial method as a key factor for artistic progress and innovation in the 19th century.
Aimed at adults and organised by the Museum’s Education Department in collaboration with the Artist Outreach Program, the course comprises three sessions that will take place on 15, 16 and 22 March: a visit to the exhibition, a working session outdoors and another that will introduce pictorial techniques.
Enrolment opens on 25 February for students and Friends of the Museum (30 Euros), and on 1 March for the general public (40 Euros). All materials required for undertaking the course are included in the price.
