In the Gallery. Selected Works

November 2013 to June 2014

The educational programme In the Gallery. Selected Works offersparticipants, throughout 2013/4, further opportunities to discover the Permanent Collections and the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection through a thematic route. On this occasion, members of the Museum’s Volunteer team will be taking water as their guiding thread, giving talks on a different work each month and revealing how artists such as Burchfield, Nolde, Vernet, Andrews, Corot, de Stäel, Duccio and Canaletto have made use of this element in their paintings over the centuries.

Free for visitors already inside the Museum, this activity takes place on Thursdays at 12 noon and 5pm and on Saturdays at 12 noon. Prior booking is not required.
