To close the events organised around the exhibition Pop Art Myths, the artist Eduardo Arroyo will give a lecture entitled Pop Art, etc. Arroyo, as one of the most important figures in Spanish Pop Art, inevitably has a number of his works being shown in this exhibition. His paintings include Jose Maria Blanco White Threatened by his Followers in London (1978) in the ‘History Painting’ section of the exhibition, and Clothed Man Descending a Staircase (1976) in the ‘Art about Art’ section. The lecture begins at 19.30 in the Museum’s Auditorium. Entry is free of charge, but invitations must be collected in advance from the Information Desk from 18.00 onwards.
