Lecture cycle Masterpieces from Budapest. From the Renaissance to the Avant-gardes

9 March to 6 April 2017

To coincide with Masterpieces from Budapest. From the Renaissance to the Avant-gardes, which features an important selection of works from the Budapest Fine Arts Museum-National Gallery of Hungary, the Museo Thyssen has organised a lecture series to complement the exhibition and convey the variety and quality of its contents.

Over the course of five lectures, taking place at 5pm on Thursdays between 9 March and 6 April, curators from the Budapest museum’s different departments will be explaining its collection, which totals more than 100,000 works in the present day.

Free entry, prior booking required online or by phone, from the Tuesday prior to each talk.
