  • Introductory video of Surrealism and the Dream

  • with José Jiménez
  • 17 September 2013

In this video, José Jiménez, curator of the exhibition, explains the Surrealism and the Dream hosted from 8 September 2013 to 12 January 2014. The exhibition offers a thematic presentation of the Surrealists’ visual interpretation of the world of dreams and it aims to demonstrate that this influence has its most profound roots in the Surrealist connection between dream and image. Therefore, examples from the wide range of media in which this link is evident, are displayed such as painting, drawing, graphic work, collage, objects, sculptures, photography and film.
