Lecture on the work Evening (1888), within lecture series given by Guillermo Solana, the Museum’s Artistic Director and the curator of the exhibition, in conjunction with the temporary exhibition Heroines (8 March to 5 June 2011). Each lecture will focus on a work in the Permanent Collection that represents a different vision of women during a period (from the late 19th century to the early 20th century) that was crucial for female political and social emancipation.
