The museum offers a range of educational activities aimed at families. After a guided tour of the museum’s collection, participants are given the chance to take part in a creative workshop. Working in teams, participants come together to undertake activities tailored to their particular requirements.

Family Workshops

This organised visit consists of a tour of the museum’s galleries, which aims to stimulate children’s descriptive, creative and narrative abilities, as well as their powers of observation. It is followed by a workshop session that visually reinforces the concepts and content of the tour.

A guided tour of the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection is followed by a private workshop for a minimum of four children aged between six and twelve years, and four adults. The maximum number of participants per group is 15.

Total length of tour and workshop:
2 hours 30 minutes

These times allow for a visit to the Permanent Collection before the Museum opens to the public from 10.00 to 19.00, Tuesdays to Sundays.

All day
Tuesday to Sunday
19:30 onwards
Saturday and Sunday
from 9.00-11.30.

The day can only be guaranteed once the booking has been finalised.
