Light in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection is the new route around
the Museum’s collections offered to Friends of the Museum this spring. It will
be held from 18 April to 20 May as part of the programme Art Routes
exclusively offered to Friends of the Museum and is taught by Diana Angoso.
The course will aim to introduce participants to one of the most important
visual elements within the history of painting: the depiction of light. It will
do so through works in the Collection by some of the great masters of light,
from Ghirlandaio, Memling, Caravaggio and Claude Lorraine to Corot, Van Gogh and
Severini.
Enrolment from 10 April until all places filled.
