Abstraction in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection is the new route around the Museum’s collections offered to Friends of the Museum this autumn. It will be held from 19 September to 11 November as part of the programme Art Routes exclusively offered to Friends of the Museum and is taught by Pilar Baselga.

The aim of the course is to provide participants with a fuller understanding and appreciation of the Museum´s outstandingly rich collection of abstract art. Over seven sessions the course will look at the work of the numerous artists who hae used non-figurative language to express and reveal their inner works over the course of the 20th century.
