An example of Grosz's later evolution, when his criticism toned down and lost the great aggressivity that characterized it. In a street of a large city we see Grosz's typical fauna: a disabled soldier, a prostitute and ugly and repulsive citizens. But the treatment is softened, with a paler colour and tone than in previous periods.
