The production of the Merz was alternated with the creation of works marked by the rigour of geometric abstraction. Influenced by Russian Suprematism, Schwitters has created a work of radical reduction of artistic vocabulary, limited to the straight line, to a circle and to flat colours. In a square format, the work can be contemplated from eight different angles, as indicated by the title that the author has given it.
