The religious theme corresponds to the apocryphal apostles and is more a pretext to represent a bourgeois interior with all kind of details of everyday life. This panel can therefore be considered an excellent genre painting in which the anecdote of the woman who is looking after a newborn baby or the one in the foreground who is attending to Saint Anne, together with other servants, or the excellent still-lifes that we see multiply in the multiple details, are a manifestation of the peculiar painting marked by everyday affairs. However, this image is far from realistic defined by inestability, stylization and forced perspective.
