Belonging to a polyptych, together with other panels representing saints that are to be found in different museums, it was for a time thought to be the work of Bartolomeo Vivarini, restored today to his nephew Alvise. Against the gold background, the figure of this saint stands out with almost the force of sculpture, with great intensity of expression in the face and in the arm that is pointing to the cross as the way to salvation.
