Zoom
The three saints represented were doctors related to the city of Cologne: Saint Cosmas, on the left, dressed in red, in the centre Saint Damia and on the right Saint Pantaleon. In their hands they hold attributes that identify them, jars and a book, and they stand on a flowery carpet of plants. The elongated proportions of the figures are outstanding features, which give them a sensation of elegance.
