After analytic Cubism, Picasso and Braque arrive in their evolution at what has been called synthetic Cubism. The geometric purification of the forms has almost reached abstraction, although it still maintains figurative links through little naturalistic details: lthe eyes, the nose, the moustache, the emblems of an anchor or the fur on the collar of a coat.
