The Quattrocento

The Quattrocento is the great period of unfolding of the First Renaissance, which in Italy yielded great masters and laid the foundations for a return to classicism, illustrated in works by Paolo Uccello, Bramantino, Lorenzo Costa, Cosme Tura and Bonfiglio.
