LGBTI+ and non-binary Identities

In our modern societies, gender is not exclusively reduced to heterosexual parameters. In line with this and the museum’s own commitment to plurality in a more tolerant world, here we bring together various initiatives focused on giving visibility to the different gender identities.

Gender ought not to be constructed as a stable identity or locus of agency from which various acts follow; rather gender is an identity tenuously constructed in time, instituted in an exterior space through a stylized repetition of acts.
