In conjunction with the exhibition Wyeth: Andrew and Jamie in the Studio, the Museum organised a film cycle of 5 full-length films selected for their connections with the Wyeths’ painting, either because they narrate major events in American history – The Grapes of Wrath (1940) by John Ford – or due to their fantastical nature – Tideland (2005) by Terry Gilliam – or their subject-matter – Nostalghia (1983) by Andrei Tarkovsky.
