May sees the return of Young People’s Night at the Thyssen, an activity aimed at holders of the Region of Madrid’s Young Person’s Card and which consists of a guided tour of the temporary exhibition on display at the time and a workshop session focusing on the concepts learned in the galleries. This activity sets out to offer younger visitors a cultural option as a leisure activity, introducing them to the world of artistic creation through their own experiences.

The programme begins in May with tours of Madrid Realists and of Wyeth: Andrew and Jamie in the Studio. It continues this summer with Caravaggio and the Painters of the North and Caillebotte, painter and gardener. It follows on between this autumn and January 2017 with Renoir and Intimacy and Bulgari: Treasures of Rome.

The activity takes place on various Saturday afternoons each month, with more than one session. Each tour and workshop session lasts approximately 2 hours. Every holder of a Young Person’s Card can bring a guest.
