The Thyssen-Bornemisza collection has been rearranged: in the Second Floor, Old Masters are displayed ranging up to the beginning of the 19th century (the changes have affected mainly to the 17th and 18th Dutch painting rooms); and on the first floor, the Modern Masters from Impressionism to the 20th century.
On the first floor, from 29 November 2022 to 30 April 2023, the exhibition In the Eye of the Storm: Modernism in Ukraine, 1900 - 1930s, presents the ground-breaking art produced in Ukraine in the first decades of the 20th century.
The ground floor of the museum, with its own access located at the beginning of the hall, houses the new installation of 180 works of the Carmen Thyssen collection.
