The Thyssen-Bornemisza collection has been rearranged: in the Second Floor, Old Masters are displayed ranging up to the beginning of the 19th century (the changes have affected mainly to the 17th and 18th Dutch painting rooms).

In the First Floor, Modern Masters from Impressionism to 20th century can be found, along with the American Art from the Thyssen Collection exhibition. The exhibition, which is on view in rooms 55 to 46, features a selection of 140 works belonging to the permanent collection and the Carmen Thyssen Collection or loaned by the Thyssen family.

The ground floor of the museum, with its own access located at the beginning of the hall, houses the new installation of 180 works of the Carmen Thyssen collection.
