The ticket grants full access to the entire museum for one day, including all temporary exhibitions on view at the time. Please note temporary exhibitions have limited entry numbers, its visit is subject to ticket availability.

Cards which grant individual visit:

Paseo del Arte Card:
  • This card includes one visit to the Prado National Museum, the Reina Sofia National Museum and Arts Centre and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
  • It is valid for one year from the date of emission at the ticket office. The Card amounts to a discount of 20% of the ticket prices of the three museums featured.
  • In the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza it is only valid for the Permanent Collection.

<1--Madrid Card:
  • Includes the visit to the Museum Permanent Collection with priority Access.
  • Valid for one visit and it does not include access to the temporary exhibitions at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.

Group visits

The price of the admission tickets varies according to the number of people in your group and the Museum may be visited in self-led tours (unguided), privately guided tours and guided tours offered by the Museum. More information here.

Admission Tickets for Groups ≥ 7:

  • Groups of seven people or more are eligible for this admission ticket, which does not permit any individual concessions or free admission.
  • Grants access to the Permanent Collection and all temporary exhibitions for one entire day either as a self-led tour or as a privately guided tour.
  • Privately-guided groups have their own terms and conditions. Please read them here.

Open ticket:
  • € 10.00
  • Grants access to the Permanent Collection and all temporary exhibitions for one unspecified day as part of a self-led tour.
  • Minimum purchase: 50 tickets.
  • Available only at the Museum´s ticket office.
  • It is compulsory to select at the Museum´s ticket office the entry time for access to the Temporary Exhibition on the day of the visit.
