The museum is celebrating International Museum Day with Five works to unite a divided world, a special activity inspired by the motto proposed by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) for this year: “Museums uniting a divided world”.

During morning and afternoon sessions lasting an hour and a half in the galleries, different guides will discuss five works in the collection, addressing issues such as diversity, women, sustainability, war and the city, inviting reflection on current events through art. The selected paintings are: The Death of Hyacinthus by Tiepolo; The Psyche mirror, by Berthe Morisot; Waterloo Bridge by André Derain; Metropolis by George Grosz; and Hotel Room by Edward Hopper.
