Friends have the chance to enjoy a preview of the exhibition devoted to the Danish artist Vilhem Hammershøi the day before it opens, as well as to participate in private guided tours with the option of different formats, dates and times.
This is the first major retrospective on Hammershøi to be organised in Spain, bringing together more than a hundred works characterised by the influence of the artist’s wife Ida Ilsted, by cool, silent interiors, and by the metaphorical relationship that exists between his painting, silence and the apparent sensation of calmness transmitted.
