The activity Focus on the work returns this May with an edition dedicated to Sonia Delaunay, one of the leading figures of the early 20th-century European avant-gardes.

On this occasion Marta Ruiz del Árbol, curator of Modern Painting and curator of the exhibition devoted to this Ukrainian artist in 2017, will introduce Friends to the painting Simultaneous Contrasts. Through dialogue and observation participants will focus on issues such as the place of women in the history of art, the desire to bring art into daily life and the quest for new artistic languages.
