Winter’s characteristic tones of whites, blues and greys are the protagonists of this second edition of The four seasons programme, an activity exclusively offered to Friends in which works in the Thyssen collections reveal how artists depicted the light and changes in nature of the different seasons of the year.

On this occasion the frozen atmosphere and snowy landscapes of winter are the guiding thread for a tour that starts in the museum’s galleries with 17th to 20th century works and continues in the Royal Botanical Garden where an expert will comment on the vegetation typical of this time of year.

In addition to in-person attendance, there will be an online tour based on the works in this activity.
