Winter landscapes and the snow-covered natural world are the protagonists of this new edition of The Four Seasons programe. Through a series of works ranging from the 17th to the 20th centuries Friends taking part in this activity will learn how different artists have depicted the coldest season of the year and its icy atmosphere, with a clear preference for whites, blues and greys.

The activity continues in the Royal Botanical Garden where an expert on the subject will explain how vegetation adapts to this season and the way in which trees and plants acclimatise.

The first part of the visit, which centres on the collection, is also offered in an online version.
