To coincide with this year’s Gastrofestival, the museum is offering an activity that includes a guided tour of the galleries with a gastronomic theme following by a tapas tasting inspired by some of the paintings seen on the tour.

From the forbidden fruit of the Garden of Eden to hamburgers from fast food chains and including the bread and wine of the Last Supper as well as a series of still lifes, this gastronomic tour draws attention to the role of food in works by artists such as Jan Gossaert, Chardin and Richard Estes.
