The museum is taking part in the second edition of Madrid Hotel Week, an initiative of Madrid Destino’s department of tourism (Ayuntamiento de Madrid) and the Corporate Association for Hotels in Madrid that includes various events and activities hosted by the city’s hotels and institutions.

This year the museum is holding free guided tours on the subject of Female portraits in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, in which women’s voices can be heard over the course of history through their representation in western painting from the Renaissance to the twentieth century.
