To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Lucian Freud (1922-2011), the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza and the National Gallery in London are presenting a retrospective on the artist which features around 50 works. Following its London showing, the exhibition has now arrived in Madrid.

On Saturdays and Sundays from February to June a guided tour aimed at the general public (aged over 12) will focus on the extensive output of this key figure in 20th century art, revealing specific aspects of Freud’s painting and analysing his range of subject matter.

Tickets are on sale from the museum’s ticket desks and on its website for a 9 Euro supplement to the entry ticket price.
