In conjunction with this year’s International Museums Day, to be held on 18 May, both the museum’s Permanent Collection and the temporary exhibitions Masterpieces from Budapest and Rafael Moneo can be visited free of charge during normal opening hours, 10am to 7pm.

On Museums Night, Saturday 20 May, the Permanent Collection will be open free of charge from 7pm to 1am.

From 18 May to Sunday 21 an installation in the museum’s garden sponsored by Endesa, principal sponsor of the Museum’s 25th Anniversary, will allow visitors to “enter” some of the paintings in the collection such as Family Portrait by Frans Hals, Young Knight by Carpaccio, The Dream by Franz Marc, and Hotel Room by Edward Hopper, and to photograph themselves inside them. These images can then be shared at #entraenelcuadro
