The second edition of the course The artist’s studio offers Friends a close-up viewpoint on the great works in the collection through technical studies and treatises on art in order to learn how they were made: the treatment of the pictorial surface, the pigments and tools employed, the use of stretchers, etc. This route through the museum’s galleries, which traces a parallel course to the major technical revolutions in the history of painting consists of six virtual sessions.

The course will be taught by Raquel Sáez, museum guide, using Microsoft Teams platform.  Participants will receive the credentials and documentations before hand by e-mail.
