Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA) and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in collaboration with ARCO and the Museo Thyssen are organising a study day devoted to the artistic activities of Óscar Domínguez during the time he spent in Czechoslovakia from 1946 to 1949.

Taking part in this event will be a number of specialists who will analyse the life and work of the Tenerife-born Domínguez, considered a key figure in mid-20th-century art. They include the art historian Pavel Stepanek and the chief curator of the TEA, Isidro Hernández, both curators of this project and the editors of the monograph of the same title which will be presented during the study day.
