This summer the museum is presenting the first monographic exhibition on the relationship between the great Impressionist painter Claude Monet and his master Eugène Boudin, a leading representative of plein air painting. Around 100 works will cast light not only on Monet’s early training, in which Boudin played an important role, but also on their respective careers as a whole and on the origins of Impressionism.

Friends of the Museum can enjoy a private guided tour of the exhibition’s galleries on 1, 8 and 9 July.
