Coinciding with the last few weeks of the exhibition Impressionist Gardens, the Museum organised a concert entitled In my Garden. The actress Carlota Gaviño  brought to life the ideas and emotions expressed by the Australian writer Elizabeth von Armin in her book Elizabeth and her German Garden (1898), while the mezzo-soprano Gudrun Olafsdottir, accompanied on the piano by Alexis Delgado, illustrated these literary excerpts through a selection of pieces linked to the theme of the garden and written by various composers active during the period of Impressionism, such as Debussy, Ravel, Chausson and Boulanger.
