Spanish Carpets from the National Museum of Decorative Arts

For this exhibition, organised in collaboration with the Spanish National Museum of Decorative Arts, seven carpets have been selected from its collection. This set of carpets, coming from the two most important and renowned production centres in Spain and abroad, Alcaraz (Albacete) and Cuenca, is exhibited in the "Villahermosa Gallery", on the second floor of the Museum. The exhibition also includes seven paintings from the Permanent Collection in which different types of carpets from that time are represented, to illustrate the everyday use of these objets.
