CHANEL

Chanel is an international luxury brand founded in Paris by Gabrielle Chanel, better known as Coco Chanel, in 1910. Specialized in designing and making haute couture clothing, with a visionary appeal in its designs, being timeless and modern. Along with iconic perfumes they have created a unique and characteristic style, recognized worldwide.

Pablo Picasso and Gabrielle Chanel collaborated professionally on two occasions, both with Jean Cocteau: on Antigone (1922) and on Sergei Diaghilev's Russian ballet Le Train Bleu (1924).

A century later, in alliance with the museum, Chanel sponsors an exhibition that explores the relationship between these two great creative geniuses of the 20th century, bringing together art and fashion in a new exhibition project.
